For state and local government entities under Title II, the DOJ's 2024 rule adopts WCAG 2.1 Level AA directly, with compliance dates currently set for 2027 and 2028 depending on population. Federal agencies and their vendors fall under Section 508, which incorporates WCAG 2.0 Level AA. Whichever applies, we audit and remediate against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and document what was fixed.
