Fixing the metric, not the score
A Lighthouse score is a lab test on one simulated phone. Core Web Vitals are measured on your real visitors, which is what Google uses. A page can score well in the lab and still fail in the field, so the work starts with field data from PageSpeed Insights and the Search Console report, then traces each failure to its cause.
LCP problems are usually a late hero image, render-blocking CSS or a slow server response. INP problems come from long JavaScript tasks on the main thread, often third-party tags. CLS comes from images and embeds without reserved space, late web fonts and banners injected above content. Each has a specific code-level fix.
Where a site is built on a platform that cannot be fixed at the source, we say so plainly, and a rebuild is quoted separately rather than sold as an optimisation.

Google rates a page as good when, for 75% of visits, LCP is under 2.5 seconds, INP is under 200 milliseconds and CLS is under 0.1.
Do Core Web Vitals affect rankings?
They are part of Google’s page experience signals. They rarely outrank relevance, but between similar pages a faster, stable page has the edge, and it converts better either way.
How long until field data improves?
Lab scores change immediately. Search Console field data uses a rolling 28-day window, so expect the report to catch up over about four weeks after the fixes go live.
Can you fix Core Web Vitals on WordPress or Shopify?
Often partly: images, fonts and third-party scripts can usually be improved. When the theme or platform is the bottleneck, we will tell you, and a custom rebuild is quoted separately.
